RESEARCH INTERESTS

Dr. Rosenman has an active research program in occupational and environmental disease with particular interest in pulmonary disease. He has published approximately 205 articles on occupational and environmental disease. In conjunction with Michigan OSHA and the Michigan Health Department he tracks the occurrence of work-related asthma, acute work-related traumatic fatalities, acute pesticide disease, noise-induced hearing loss, silicosis, blood and urine arsenic, cadmium, lead and mercury levels, serum and red cell cholinesterase levels and asthma deaths in the young. He received a Michigan State University Distinguished Faculty Award in 2010,  a College of Human Medicine Distinguished Faculty Award in 2010 and a Michigan Department of Community Health Health Policy Champion Award in 2011.
