Research Interests:
My research interests are focused on elucidating the molecular mechanisms underlying changes in structural plasticity of dopaminergic neurons in the reward circuit of the brain induced by drugs of abuse. These changes in the molecular signaling and plasticity are not well understood, and by identifying these changes in the reward circuit, we hope to better understand the molecular processes that contribute to drug addiction.
